Compare Impacts for Multiple Countries and Regions | |

Mepsy users now have the ability to compare the policy impacts for entire regions or user-specified countries. Users can model the climate, energy, and product stock changes for a single product, displayed with a time series chart, annual pie chart, and cumulative savings bar chart. You can easily switch between Regional and Country Results for more a focused view.
Currently, Mepsy models multi-country policies with a "Policy Effective Year" of 2022, but more years will be available soon. | |

We are excited to announce the latest addition to our roster of appliances available on Mepsy and updates to one of the most energy-intensive categories: heating.
You can now model impacts for residential hot water heaters, comparing traditional non-condensing units to the more efficient condensing units and transitioning from electric storage heaters to heat pumps.

Technology Improvement Rate | |
To reflect market-driven efficiency improvements without policy intervention, Mepsy is introducing an annual improvement rate applied to future and prior policy effective years.
The default rate set in Mepsy is 2% for Business-As-Usual, 0% for Efficiency Policy as conservative estimate, and 2% for Best Available Technology as the most optimistic aim.

CLASP and GTD developed an open-source software for testing the energy-efficiency and performance of personal computers as they perform a range of common tasks.
This software is designed to provide a free tool to assess the energy use and performance of a computer on any operating system and assist in independent performance reviews.
