Net National Savings Calculations
| |
To illustrate the monetary gains from different levels of efficiency, Mepsy has added a “Net Savings” calculation under the “National Impact” section. This figure is a cumulative dollar amount through the selected “Reference Year” found by subtracting the investment needed to deploy new units from the national savings through energy reduction. Unit price can be adjusted in the Equipment Data parameter category.
This calculation can help show the national-level financial benefits from strong energy efficiency policies.
